Michelle Sigvaldson is a Sensory Scientist with Alberta Agriculture and Forestry. She works at the Food Processing Development Centre in the Food and Value Added Processing Division. Michelle studied at the University of Alberta where she obtained a BS and a MAg degree in Nutrition and Food Science.
After working in the private food industry for 19 years in the area of product development Michelle joined the Sensory team at the Food Processing Development Centre in 2013 . She currently leads consumer sensory panels for industry clients and is passionate in providing the ‘so what’ science-based sensory impact for applied crop research projects.
