Tyler is President of the Canada Grains Council and founder of a boutique public affairs consulting firm focused on the agriculture and food sector. He has spent the last three years providing management consulting and government relations advice to some of Canada’s largest agribusinesses and associations.
His previous roles have included positions with the Government of Canada as an international trade policy specialist, negotiator and senior political advisor. Tyler put this public sector experience to work for the industry in positions at the Canola Council of Canada and, prior to his consulting career, in government relations and major project management at Viterra Inc.
Tyler grew up on the family farm near Camrose, Alberta, and holds a Master of Arts with a focus on trade, economics and finance from Carleton University.
