Biography

Jolene Noble is the extension coordinator for the Alberta Farm Sustainability Extension Working Group. The AFSE was founded by Alberta Barley, the Alberta Canola Producers Commission, the Alberta Pulse Growers and the Alberta Wheat Commission in 2016 to continue the on-farm sustainability work started in 2015 with the Alberta Crops Sustainability Certification Pilot Project. She previously worked in the beef sector with youth development and advocacy programs at the Canadian Cattlemen’s Association.

Jolene is actively involved in her family farm, Jackknife Creek Land and Cattle, in the Peace Region near Manning, Alberta. It is a mixed operation with cash crop, grass seed and commercial cow/calf enterprises. Jolene holds her B. Sc. in Ag from the University of Alberta.
