About this session:
Weather conditions in the Prairies in recent years have become more volatile than usual and 2016 may have been the most extreme seem in a while starting with drought and ending with too much moisture in many areas.
2017 will begin with left over moisture surpluses in many areas with some lingering dryness in the south of Alberta.
Drew Lerner will examine the prospects of more volatility in our weather during the coming growing season and will strive to answer the question Is “Normal” weather even possible any more?
What is normal and what can we expect in the next nine months will be presented in this highly popular FarmTech Session.
