About this session:
Soil test levels are key metrics for managing plant nutrition at the farm and field level. They also serve as metrics for public reporting of sustainability performance.
This session will describe the trends in soil test phosphorus and potassium in the Canadian prairies and across North America, and explore opportunities and challenges for improving the management of plant nutrition.
The legacy of phosphorus use in particular has both agronomic and environmental impacts that are coming under greater levels of scrutiny worldwide.
